Founded in 2017 by Mark Wood, Control Technologies UK Ltd began as a one-man operation with a mission to provide cutting-edge engineering solutions for the eMobility and off-highway vehicle industries. Over the years, the company has grown into a thriving organisation, employing a growing team of 15 talented professionals and achieving annual revenues of over £2 million.
Control Technologies UK has established itself as a leader in automation, digitalisation, and decision technologies, serving clients across multiple territories. Its focus on real-time machine control has driven innovation and delivered measurable value to customers.
With a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends, the company continues to expand its expertise and services, including recent ventures into cybersecurity and industrial automation solutions. Product Sales
Product sales account for approx. 50% of our total revenue per year. We have a large number of supplier partnerships (primarily from EU based product manufacturers), bringing their products into the UK and distributing to OEMs and end-users. Whilst this is a more classic distribution model, we position ourselves as a value-add reseller, providing technical advisory and support services for our customers, differentiating ourselves away from classic ‘box shifters’.
Engineering Services
Expanding on our value-add reselling, we have a dedicated team of applications engineers, all mechatronics backgrounds, who deliver complete end-to-end technical solutions to our customers. We are in a position to deliver the full project lifecycle, from concept and ideation, through to software/firmware development and commissioning. Our services don’t end there, we provide full support for the customer beyond sign-off of the project, often working with customers for many years on various iterations of their machines and systems.
Web Shop
Our web shop was introduced in late 2020 after we had signed the distribution agreement with PEAK Systems to resell their products in the UK. We now sell a large number of products through our web shop and this continues to expand.
